Justifying attendance at conferences is tough in today’s economy. That’s why we are here to help! Below is a link with four sample letters to help justify to your supervisor why you should attend the 2023 Academic Resources Conference in Monterey, CA.There are a few fields to be filled in, so read through this carefully and customize the letter to your needs and objectives.

Cost is: $194 per night

Policy Guidelines

Please review the Cancellation Policy to understand if a registration can be cancelled or switched. There is a $35 processing fee for cancelling a registration.

Conference Registration Guidelines

The information below provides guidance for the registration process.

If paying through the systemwide Interagency Financial Transaction (IFT) process, follow these steps to avoid an invalid registation. Before moving to the payments portion in the registration portal (after you've added the product to the cart, but before entering payment information), use the comments field to provide your chartfield. After adding your chartfield in the comments choose Invoice Me on the payment page. The provided information will be used to bill your registration directly to your campus.

If using auxiliary funds, for example: Foundation or Extended Ed funds, an invoice will be generated to your campus. Be sure to include the AUX chartfield in the comments portion of the form.

If you are registering for multiple participants, please include individual names in the comments section as well.

When completing your travel expense claim form, consult your campus for how to reflect this cost, because IFTs do not provide receipts.

Conference

The Conference runs from May 28-31, 2024.
Early registraton (before February 18, 2024) cost is: $699
Registration (Februry 19-May 14, 2024) cost is: $799
Late Registration (May 15-May 29, 2024) cost is: $869. Please note give away items and preprinted materials may run out/not be available.

Bulk registrations of 10 or more, at the time of registration, qualify for a 10% discount off the regular registration fee. All 10 (or more) must be registered at one time. 10 single registrations cannot be lumped together to qualify for the bulk discount. To take advantage of the discount, select the IFT option and provide the names of the individuals along with their titles and email addresses in the comments section. Send an email with the same information to registration@csuarc.org. The requester will receive verification of the discount.
